Concerning Your Cares || 1 Peter 5:6 (ESV) || Short Bible Verses

1 Peter 5:6 (ESV) tells us that –  “Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you.”

Just wondering if you can say that your life is without any burdens concerns or worries. Yeah, probably not, of course, we’ve heard people say that guy doesn’t have a care in the world but is that true. Now. We all have things that we are concerned about one degree or another so what burden are you carrying right now what’s the heaviest one. Emily bothers lord help us with those things those worries those concerns your word tells us so many times do not worry do not be afraid. But we’re human and we have those feelings.

Lord help us to keep focused lord to keep our eyes on you and not on those ways and that storm and those things around if that draw our attention lord in as it talks about in first Peter verse five make me aware of my pride in helping to close me with humility for your word clearly says you oppose the proud but gives grace to the humble. Help me to humble myself under your mighty hand give me the courage to cast all of my cares all of my anxieties my worries like concerned upon you once and for all.

Lord your word says that you care about me with deep affection he watches over me carefully the lord give me the peace and that knowledge so that I can be sober well-balanced self-disciplined alert and conscious at all times I know that we have an enemy that prowls around like a roaring lion fiercely devouring those who we can devour Phil help me to resist him to be firm and my faith helps me not to worry to have faith in you.
