Psalm 100:5 (ESV) tells us that “For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.”

Are you telling me? Others about what God has done in your life. You know. We serve the same God who blasted open the Red Sea for Moses and we pray to the same god for whom Daniel defied his earthly king we know this same God who broke bread with his twelve disciples and conquered death for us. His word and his light. Is passed from generation to generation to generation and we today are the torch bearers who will pass. Our own stories. Of god’s faithfulness and love to the ones who come next.

So what is your story? And are you sharing it with others telling them what God has done in your life will join me as we meditate pray and reflect on sharing stories from generation to generation from psalm chapter one hundred first five? For the Lord is good his steadfast love endures forever and his faithfulness to all generations. Let’s begin by just taking a few deep relaxing breaths just peacefully centre yourself in the presence of God. Settling into wherever you are.

Join me now in a moment of closing prayer. God, you are the alpha and omega the beginning and in the end, you are the author of every individual story and you have a plan for the great story of history so thank you for letting me be a part of what you are working on. Pray you to give me the faithfulness to declare what you have done in my life so that I might pass your story to the next generation I offer in pre this in the name of Jesus your son our saviour and my lord in man we’re almost done but don’t run off too quickly or rush off into a day may be filled with pressing distractions.

Pause here before stepping into that world and remember the past. Look forward to the future and how both are covered in stories of god’s love and faithfulness. I hope those rediscovered stories will bring you into a place of peace in alignment with god this you meditate and abide in Christ.
