Joy of Loving God || 1 John 4:9 (ESV) || Short Bible Verses

1 John 4:9 (ESV) tells us that “In this, the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world so that we might live through him.”

So how do you know that someone truly loves you? Is it what they say or what they do. Well, hopefully, it’s a bit of both. You know a Christmas time we celebrate god’s unlimited love for us.

First John chapter four verse nine says this is how God showed his love among us he sent his one and only son into the world that we might live through him. God loves you with his words and his actions. When you were dead in sin god since you his only son Jesus he held nothing back. The creator entered this painful world head first as a baby in Jesus suffered death so you could be made right with him that is love in action.

Through Jesus, you were born of God you’ve received the ability to love god back and give him your best holding nothing back. So how are you giving God your best? Will you persist even when it’s hard to even when it hurts. That’s when you experience the true joy of loving god.

Your god thank you for loving me so much that you sent your only son into this wicked world to bring me eternal life through his death I thank Jesus I want to die to myself and become your servant giving you my best every day because that’s what you did for me. Strength in me in every moment with your grace to joyfully love you more and more I love you, Lord Amen.

So before you continue on with your day remain here with Jesus just allowing him to speak to you. And ponder how Jesus chose to become a small baby on Christmas morning how this birth hope. Peace and new life in you. Allow the joy this love to feel you as you abide in Christ.
